Psalm 4:6-8 “There are many who say, ‘Who will show us any good?’ Lord, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. You have put gladness in my heart, more than in the season that their grain and wine increased. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
Leader, I bless you with rising above people and circumstances that want to pull you down or keep you ‘in your place’. God determines your place. Your role is to ensure that you are close enough to Him to see and hear the direction in which He is going – because you are not going alone. I bless you with the God of heaven and earth, literally, arising with His face lit up in happiness over you. I bless you with experiencing His gladness and being satisfied with His joy more than what worldly possessions and status can do. I bless you with peace and sleep unhindered by your subconscious re-living the day’s trials. I bless you with your faith being strengthened in this God who delights to be your place of refuge, being ever so eager to show you good.
