Habakkuk 2:2-4 “Then the Lord answered me and said: ‘Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith.”
Leader, I bless you with a clear vision for your company or constituency. I bless you with being surrounded by people supportive of the vision, recognising its ‘big picture’ potential to improve our world. I bless you with sufficiently trusting others with the vision and allowing them to bring their God-seeds of capabilities and unique flavour to bear on the vision to expand its reach and colour in those places of which you have not thought. I bless you with the patience to see it through, trusting that God’s timing is perfect – He is not influenced by our ‘fast food’ way of life; the journey is just as precious as the fulfilment. I bless you with not becoming proud. Pride has an uncanny ability to close one’s ears for the council or inputs of others. It isolates, also from God. I bless you with expanding your faith, expecting that God will respond.
