Unexpected pleasure

Luke 14:4 “But they kept silent. And He took him and healed him, and let him go.”

Leader, I bless you with doing good and bringing relief even if it means offending people. I bless you with being ready in season and out of season to use the resources with which God has blessed you for improving the lives of others. I bless you with being led by God’s generosity – not only where your finances are concerned, but also your talents and time. I bless you with seeing how your worldview expands as you wilfully enlarge your heart to make place for others who most would like to ignore or forget. And I bless you with relishing the pleasure of making a tangible difference and with feeling God’s pleasure as you share a secret moment of bringing some of heaven to earth.

Matthew 6:3,4 “But when you give to charity, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.  So that your deeds of charity may be in secret; and your Father Who sees in secret will reward you openly.”
