Hebrews 4:5 “… and again in this place, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’”
Leader, I bless you with the resolve to position yourself for God’s rest. Where you have so many things clamouring for your attention every day, I bless you with the wisdom to ensure that your responsibilities towards others and bottom-line targets do not dwarf your responsibility towards yourself. I bless you with allowing yourself time to rest in whatever way energises you. That will have some physical and psychological benefits. But, Leader, I especially bless you with seeking and experiencing God’s rest and entering into a place where you go higher to share His perspective about your life; where you, despite the stresses of your work environment or your sphere of influence, have a core that is at peace and free of anxiety. From that place good decisions will flow. I bless you with being obedient to God, believing that He is and that He is good. Your obedience unlocks the door to enter His rest. I bless you with being revived in His presence.
