Blessings of nurture

Proverbs 12:12-14 The wicked covet the catch of evil men, but the root of the righteous yields fruit. The wicked is ensnared by the transgression of his lips, but the righteous will come through trouble. A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him.

blessings nurtureLeader, the result of righteous living (i.e. living in right-standing with God according to His principles) is that you literally become a gift that keeps on giving. I bless you with drinking deep from the benefits of being favoured by God and with benefiting others around you, whether through your wisdom, material blessings, or your example. I bless you with sowing such seeds with your words and your work that harvest time will be only a joy. I bless you with honouring another’s dignity, instead of giving in to humiliating bouts of indignation.

Proverbs 12:15-16 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise. A fool’s wrath is known at once, but a prudent man covers shame.
