Proverbs 8:1-4 Does not wisdom cry out, and understanding lift up her voice? She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, beside the way, where the paths meet. Leader, I bless you with the ears of your heart being wide open to hear wisdom call; for you to hear her voice penetrate any situation that might cause you to make decisions or to act contrary to what is the best for you, your sphere of influence, and your future. I bless you with hearing her when you are at the top of your game and susceptible to being taken advantage of. I bless you with hearing her amidst the drudgery of everyday life when discontent might tempt you to deviate from what you know is right. I bless you with following her lead when you cross paths with new people and challenges. I bless you with your life being filled with excellent things and with your decisions and actions leading to excellent things for others. I bless you with enjoying the security and peace that come from being led by what is right and true.
Proverbs 8:5-8 O you simple ones, understand prudence, and you fools, be of an understanding heart. Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, and from the opening of my lips will come right things; for my mouth will speak truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are with righteousness; nothing crooked or perverse is in them.
