Not all are good

Proverbs 6:12-14 “A worthless person, a wicked man, walks with a perverse mouth; he winks with his eyes, he shuffles his feet, he points with his fingers; perversity is in his heart, he devises evil continually, he sows discord.”

not all are goodLeader, evidence of the persons spoken of in these verses abounds today just as much as it did when Solomon encountered them ages ago. Their rise to power is familiar, as is their eventual fall. I bless you with never being counted among those who, by means of their malicious thoughts and actions, are branded as worthless. I bless you with keeping your heart pure so that your mouth will follow suit. I bless you with developing a character aligned with truth and transparency – with your eyes, the windows of the soul, confirming your words, leaving no doubt as to your integrity and humility. I bless you with a footfall that inspires trust and security. May your testimony of others be seasoned with grace, so that grace can also be extended to you when you stumble. I bless you with being a champion of reconciliation; may your own conduct turn others away from a worthless life and bring honour to the God who sees and weighs the hearts of men.

Proverbs 6:15-19 “Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; suddenly he shall be broken without remedy. These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.”
