Proverbs 3:31,32 “Do not envy the oppressor, and choose none of his ways; for the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, but His secret counsel is with the upright.”
Leader, comparisons can be lethal to one’s judgment. I bless you with not comparing yourself, your goals and those in your sphere of influence with the successes of others. I bless you with focusing on ways to grow and develop your strengths to fully take hold of the vision God has placed within your heart. May you walk through the right doors, and learn the right lessons as He has ordained. Your path is unique, drawing your worth from comparisons with others will lead to confusion and despair – especially if those to whom you compare yourself have gained their riches or stature through unrighteousness. I bless you with the grace to stay the course, doing what is right, and reaping a legacy of honour promised by God.
Proverbs 3:33-35 “The curse of the Lord is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the just. Surely He scorns the scornful, but gives grace to the humble. The wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the legacy of fools.
