Proverbs 3:27,28 “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so. Do not say to your neighbor, “Go, and come back, and tomorrow I will give it,” when you have it with you.”
Leader, in a world where it is easier to turn a blind eye or hide behind excuses of perpetual busy-ness, I bless you with being attentive to the needs of others. More than that, I bless you with the desire to want to do something about the needs of others. I bless you with wisdom to choose the right solution for helping others, and with sustained fervour to implement your choice. I bless you with not delaying a response, when you have it in your power to lighten someone’s burden. I bless you with choosing your battles wisely and with opting for the high – and narrow – road in every circumstance so that you will remain blameless before God.
Proverbs 3:29-30 “Do not devise evil against your neighbor, for he dwells by you for safety’s sake. Do not strive with a man without cause, if he has done you no harm.”
