Mercy and liberty

Psalm 119:41-45 “Your mercies come also to me, O Lord—Your salvation according to Your word. So shall I have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in Your word.  And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I have hoped in Your ordinances. So shall I keep Your law continually, forever and ever. And I will walk at liberty, for I seek Your precepts.”

1396964845parasailing-6Leader, I bless you with finding comfort in God’s mercy, with not living stooped under feelings of guilt or condemnation. You will find rest and encouragement in His word. I bless you with finding an answer from His word for those who criticize you, as well as the wisdom to deliver this response in the right key at the right moment. As contradictory as it sounds, I bless you with the liberty that comes from following God’s principles. I bless you with God enlarging your sphere of influence to bring you before kings because He can trust you with representing His kingdom truthfully. I bless you with lifting your hands to His laws – both as an act of praise and thanksgiving, and in surrender.

Psalm 119:46-48 “I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed. And I will delight myself in Your commandments, which I love. My hands also I will lift up to Your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on Your statutes.
