Isaiah 33:15-16 “He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, He who despises the gain of oppressions, who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil: He will dwell on high; his place of defence will be the fortress of rocks; bread will be given him, his water will be sure.
Leader, with the amount of pressure you endure in your position, be wise when solutions promising a ‘quick fix’ present themselves. In the long run, the price will be far too high. I bless you with living in a place of dignity, with enjoying ubiquitous protection, having every need met without effort on your part. To enjoy this place of divine favour, I bless you with fulfilling the criteria: I bless you with your walk and talk being in right-standing with God; with rejecting obtaining gain by oppressive means; with refusing bribes; and with being particular about what you allow your eyes and ears to dwell on so that your thinking can remain uncontaminated. I bless you with being unyielding to temptation.
