Proverbs 12:20 “Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but counsellors of peace have joy.”
Leader, I bless you with setting your sight on the joy promised by God – His joy is your strength. I bless you with recognising and following the principles that lead to this joy. I bless you with being a counsellor of peace. Give deceit and fraud a wide berth – it simply is not worth the long-term cost to you and those whom you are supposed to lead. I bless you with finding joy in doing justice, knowing that the results are far-reaching and life-giving. I bless you with heeding the warning that the future of those who pursue iniquity is bleak indeed.
