Psalm 100:4 “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” Psalm 119:62 “At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You, because of Your righteous judgments.” Psalm 140:13 “Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence.”
Leader, I bless you with cultivating a lifestyle of thankfulness. Gratitude is a big theme throughout God’s Word. I bless you with the wisdom to be thankful for all you receive, not to take anything for granted and not to fall into the trap of thinking you are entitled to these things. I bless you with being generous with your gratitude and with reaping the good fruit of humbleness and hopeful expectation that such an attitude produces. I bless you with being attentive to the good things that result from difficult situations, and to thank God for these. I bless you with dwelling in God’s presence – the source of all you need to live to the full and accomplish your assignment – because your gratitude to Him makes room for you before Him. I bless you with your conduct towards others resulting in them giving thanks for you before God. I bless you with a good report about you going up to God who takes note of everything we utter about each other and those who are in positions of authority over us.
