2 Samuel 22:5, 7, 17 “The waves of death swirled about me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. In my distress I called to the Lord; I called out to my God. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came to his ears. He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.”
Leader, I bless you with quickly finding your equilibrium in the midst of the storm. I bless you with not being overwhelmed by the tempestuous waves – things you cannot control. I bless you with fixing your eyes on the horizon; extend your gaze over and beyond that which seeks to disorientate you, to that which you know is true and sure. I bless you with expressing your need for help to God. As antithetical as it may sound, there is strength in being vulnerable. And then I bless you with experiencing His intervention in ways you have not expected.
