Walking away

Ecclesiastes 3:1, 6 “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away.”

Leader, I bless you with wisdom and strength of character to make the hard choices. Business, or wherever you sphere of influence is, and life in general are not all candy floss and merry-go-round rides. As much as I bless you with perseverance to stay the course, I bless you with courage and discernment to recognise when the course is no longer the best route for achieving the vision. I bless you with recognising when friendships and business relationships become destructive rather than life-giving. I bless you with making a graceful end to those things that harm rather than build up. I bless you with not camping at places (or people or pursuits) of failure or disappointment, but to take the lessons and good memories and move on. Sometimes failure or disappointment is not even relevant, yet the season has changed, and moving away, ending something you valued, is a necessary part of your growth. I bless you with peace as you explore new opportunities.

Genesis 13:9 “Is not the whole land before you? Let’s part company. If you go to the left, I’ll go to the right; if you go to the right, I’ll go to the left.”
