Perfected by patience

Luke 21:19 “By your patience possess your souls.”

Leader, I bless you with cultivating patience (cheerful or hopeful endurance) – with yourself as well as with those around you. The word ‘souls’ here refers to ‘breath’ and by implication, spirit. I bless you with becoming aware that you are spirit, soul and body. And where the world has for centuries only focused on the soul and body, I bless you with tapping into the tremendous power locked up in your spirit – the highest order of God’s hierarchy. I bless you with allowing your spirit to rein in your soul where impatience is concerned. I bless you with a life without impatience and its fruit – frustration, failed relationships, missed goals. I bless you with not becoming lazy as you wait for the right moment, but that you will inherit the promises (divine assurance of good) God has made to you. I bless you with peace as you exercise patience, knowing that a far greater purpose is at work in your life, one to make you perfect and complete. I bless you with attaining patience so that you will lack nothing.

Hebrews 6:12 “that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”  James 1:4 “But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
