Take time to celebrate

Isaiah 9:3 “You have multiplied the nation and increased its joy; they rejoice before You according to the joy of the harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.”

Leader, I bless you with reaping an abundant harvest. You have toiled and might have met with seemingly insurmountable challenges. I bless you with His rest at the end of the week, and a multiplication of all the good things God is eager to show and give you. I bless you with joy as you experience His goodness towards you. I bless you with His shalom settling within every cell of your body. I bless you with taking a step back and reviewing everything you did and accomplished during this week. I bless you with taking delight in a job well done – if you are to follow God’s example, you should take time to enjoy your work! I bless you with celebrating what was good and with not camping at the low points. I bless you with sharing your joy with those around you who have helped to reach a goal or complete a particular task – dividing the spoil of what you have conquered, as it were.

Genesis 2:2,3 “And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. And God blessed the seventh day, set it apart as His own, and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all His work which He had created and done.”
