20/20 vision

2020 visionProverbs 14:15-18 The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers well his steps. A wise man fears and departs from evil, but a fool rages and is self-confident. A quick-tempered man acts foolishly, and a man of wicked intentions is hated. The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.

Leader, I bless you with wisdom and discernment to rightly judge every situation and every word. May you be intentional in your decision-making and its potential consequences. I bless you with being counted among the wise and with being wary of anything where you hesitate to freely ask God for His blessing. I bless you with knowing your short-comings and understanding that those do not diminish your value as a person. May your wise conduct bring you before the great so as to enlarge your sphere of influence and the associated benefits flowing to others. I bless you with taking the necessary time to understand a matter before you decide your action.

Proverbs 14:29,35 He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, but he who is impulsive exalts folly. The king’s favor is toward a wise servant, but his wrath is against him who causes shame.
