Proverbs 3:1-2,5-6 My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands; for length of days and long life and peace they will add to you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Leader, imagine that following relatively simple principles can extend one’s life and give peace… Yet, this is exactly what God promises. I bless you with laying hold of His word, with understanding and following the principles set out in His word and with obtaining what He promises. I bless you with valuing God’s input in your life more than your own, easily influenced understanding. I bless you with Him directing your paths, because His purpose is for you to reach your God-ordained destiny, which is much bigger than your own understanding can grasp. I bless you with the reverence due to Him resulting in your sustained health – body, soul and spirit.
Proverbs 3:7-8 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.
