Blessing Leaders

Psalm 119:17-19 “Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word. Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law. I am a stranger in the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me.”

Leader, there are layers of meaning and richness behind seemingly simplistic sentences in God’s word – adding to its inherent benefit as a practical manual even today. I bless you with revelation upon revelation as you study His word. I bless you with God dealing bountifully with you: to treat you well, to benefit you, to avenge you and help you get your own back, to recompense you, to reward you, and to ‘ripen’ you in your authority and sphere of influence so that your work and input will deliver an abundant harvest. In society where you are only as good as your last success and where criticism is cheap, I bless you with God removing from your contempt because you have made following His principles a priority. I bless you with witnessing the timely and accurate guidance from His word.

Psalm 119:22-24 “Remove from me reproach and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies. Princes also sit and speak against me, but Your servant meditates on Your statutes. Your testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.”
