Leaders, and those who support them, should make the best of this time where most of the world seems to take it easier. ‘Rest and rejoice’ is thus the last blog for 2016. Lord willing, ‘Blessing Leaders’ will continue early 2017. May the wonder, peace and joy of this season fill your heart and home.
Exodus 23:16 “and the Feast of Harvest, the first fruits of your labours which you have sown in the field; and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labours from the field.”
Leader, I bless you with being intentional as you end off this year. I bless you with recognising the fruit of your labours and of those around you and with being generous with your gratitude. I bless you with being especially mindful of your family and those close to you outside of the office – the people who would still be by your side even if the position/job weren’t. I bless you with a time of refreshing, with reconnecting with and enjoying the simplicity of things money can’t buy – peace, love, joy. I bless you with your vision for the new year being sharpened as you open your heart and mind to the One who holds your days in His hands.
