Intentional living

John 4:9 “Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.”

Leader, I bless you with being unconventional in your approach to people. I bless you with ripping off the labels that society likes to place on certain groups of people, either through pride or fear. I bless you with (enjoying) being radical in loving the unloved, greeting those who most want to ignore, paying attention to those who go through life, if not invisible, despised. I bless you with the priceless gift of extending dignity, one traveller through this life to another. I bless you with being present and intentional in your interactions, and with your fearless appreciation of another having similar consequences as Jesus’ defiance of the social order of the day: one woman’s life changed forever and, in turn, the change in her impacted her whole community. I bless you with changing the world one act of kindness at a time, for such you have been equipped.

Job 8:7 “Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.”
