2 Corinthians 4:7 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.”
Leader, I bless you with this treasure that Paul talks about. The previous verse identifies this treasure as God’s “light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ”. I bless you with weighing yourself correctly, with seeing yourself as God sees you – and that means accepting the weak with the strong. You are a human being given to all the frailty common to man; there is wisdom in accepting this and being kind to yourself in how you spend your time, allowing time for rest, having a learning attitude to grow in the areas where you are lacking. BUT, in our weak forms, God has poured tremendous, individual potential. The kind of potential that when rooted in the knowledge of the glory of God, can change the course of humankind and contribute to establishing heaven on earth. I bless you with embracing this truth and with seeking after the heart of God so that He can reveal to you His mandate for your life and what He wants to accomplish through you in the place and position where He has placed you. I bless you with enjoying this exhilarating ride!
