Walking alongside the Word

Deuteronomy 4:6 “Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’”

Leader, I bless you with enjoying the fruit of your obedience to God’s word. In particular as you witness how your obedience motivates the people in your sphere of influence to also be obedient. In this scripture Moses is speaking to the nation about the principles and decisions necessary to uphold before they can take possession of the land that God promised them. I bless you with an understanding that the word of God and His precepts are not arbitrary rules to keep you in your place. They are signposts on the road to the ultimate revealing of your potential and that of your people. They illuminate the best way to travel to ensure that you are travelling alongside your Creator, remaining in His perfect will, while having access to the whole range of resources He can provide for you because He is pleased and blessed by your trust in Him and His word. I bless you with gaining a reputation – you and those in your care as a leader – of being a wise and understanding people.

Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
